Dang! Highschool is Hard.

This picture describes my feeling towards high school right now.  Yet, I adore the freedoms that high school gives us.  No more dress code, no more feeling trapped.  It's less awkward, but at the same time awkwarder then ever.  There is much more drama then before, but the beautiful thing is that my high school is so huge that if you dislike a person you will probably not see them around if you even slightly try to avoid them.
High school is a huge emotion.  Like if I just said, "Oh High school" to a bunch of adults, vivid memories would come whirling back to them, either good or bad.  Socially you have a wide variety of people to hang out with.  Yet, you have to look cute everyday, have to get all A's and you suddenly going into this spinning death machine called HIGHSCHOOL that every American kids has to go through. It's academically challenging, (especially how I'm taking all the hardest classes) for once in my Jr high/high school time I've had to actually study and do homework.
Oh my word! do teachers just except us to know what the heck the homework was about and how to do it if you didn't teach it in class? It's just so frustrating.  Suddenly you realize that "oh my gosh, that test did matter, I'm never going to college, I'm never going to be accepted anywhere but a community college and I'll just fail at that too." College is all anyone can think of when they get their report cards.  The future is in my small 15 year old hands.  With what I do now can effect if I get married, get an education, get a job, have children, everything is on the shoulders of my 15 year old self.   Which reminds me I have three test tomorrow i guess I better start.

Maren.

Maren.

the day after her birthday I was lucky enough to gain one sister for two weeks.

Maren turned sixteen.

For her lovely sixteenth birthday we surprised her with all our friends with a lovely outdoor movie.

Then the next day, we did our birthday tradition.
Of kidnapping and going on an adventure for each friends birthday.

We bind folded her and snuck her into the car.
Drove up the canyon

maren is lovely. caring, kind, everything you could ever want as a friend
