Great Salt Lake

I really really love adventures.

I also really dislike school.

Which is why spring break is one of the best times of the year.

MAtt and I decided to skip rocks during the sunset at the great salt lake.

We arranged it and 4 girls and 1 boy later we were taking pictures at salt lake and exploring.

We built a roaring fire. Roasted hotdogs, marshmallows. and starbursts.

Talked and danced on the Great Salt Lake. 

The Climb

I like to go on adventures.

I'm not saying that I'm good at going on adventures or that I am that enjoyable when I do go on adventures, but I like the feeling I get after I go on adventures.


I went on a major adventure last week.
Waking up at 6:20 on a Saturday morning isn't what I wanted to be doing.
But when I got picked up and got into the car I was ready for a party.


You need to know a couple things about Mount. Olympus.
1. People die sometimes when they hike it
2. You can get lost so easily
3.  IT'S REALLY REALLY HARD

Do not hike unless you are an active healthy human.
I am not at all and it really didn't work out for me really well.

It's a really hard hike but so so fulfilling. 

things i learned:

1.  take in the view. 

2. It will be worth it. promise.

3. wear the right shoes!

4.  Don't complain.

5. take your time. It's not a race (but it kinda was ;)

6. maybe workout a bit the week before so you don't die.

7. you can brag about it. you deserve to brag about this hike.
